All Baresilver designs are handmade and one off pieces created in our workshop. Each individual piece of jewellery takes hundreds of hours to create with the finest details right down to the smallest bead individualy designed and crafted to make each piece of jewellery in our collection a trully exclusive item making it personal and giving a stylish look that will last for many years to come.
Inspired by the classical South East Asia traditional hill tribe adornments, Baresilver uses contemporary designs blending natural materials and hemps. Integral to our 2016 collection are the silver charms that are painstakingly handmade down to the finest details, no two charms are the same, even the small beads that adorn our designs are all handmade and unique.
All our beads and charms are made with the finest, high purity silver from the Thai and Laos border region. Our silver is 99% pure as opposed to sterling silver which is only 92.5%, with such purity it is much more resistant to tarnishing and retains it's beautiful natural lustre.
The fusion of weaved natural material sets the striking silver into a modern blend of fusion with the old giving each piece a truly unique feel. We do not mass produce our designs, in fact most of our collection is made up of one off pieces that we will only make once by myself, by hand.
Inspired by my love of knitting the chain pieces was born in 2012 while travelling around India. I adapted traditional techniques I already used to work with contemporary materials to give my own unique outcome. Every piece of jewellery is handmade and no two pieces are ever the same, each will fall in its own special way. The more you wear your piece of jewellery the more the chain will find its most comfortable position on you and will move with you.
I enjoy working in many mediums and materials, my other range includes leather pieces also. As a British contemporary designer I create original designs for my collections and work to commission designing of pieces for clients all over the country, and occasionally further afield, often using the clients own designs.
